Job summary

Arhaus is seeking an Operations Assistant to support Interior Designers and share ownership of store-level operations. The role focuses on delivering an exceptional guest experience while maintaining standards and driving sales.

The position requires collaboration with Studio staff and other Operations Assistants to ensure consistent execution of policies and procedures. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong product knowledge, reliability, and a proactive approach to guest service,

Qualifications

• Experience in retail or customer service preferred.
• Strong communication and listening skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform opening and closing duties as directed.
• Record all hours worked.
• Review and act upon all email and MAPP communications.
• Reinforce and drive an exceptional guest experience at every touch point.
• Assist customers in the studio when Interior Designers are not available.
• Drive a guest-focused atmosphere and ensure the highest level of service using our selling model.
• Demonstrate strong product knowledge.
• Maintain operational and reporting standards.
• Promptly solve guest concerns.
• Follow up with guests before and after the sale and at delivery.
• Encourage and support Interior Designers and other Operations Assistants.
• Participate in weekly one-on-ones and team meetings and weekly lead/business review.
• Partner with Visual Manager and other Operations Assistants regarding all aspects of merchandising.
