Job summary

DICK’S Sporting Goods in Sioux Falls is seeking a Lead to drive brand standards and deliver an exceptional teammate and customer experience in-store. You will serve as the in-store expert for your department and lead by example under the guidance of store leadership.

You will help recruit and develop teammates, coach daily tasks, and ensure merchandising and safety standards are upheld. Flexibility for nights, weekends, and holidays is required, along with a collaborative, customer‑focused

Qualifications

Flexible availability - including nights, weekend, and holidays.
Prior retail sales experience (or customer‑focused experience) preferred.
Ability to stand, bend, stoop, reach, push, pull and lift 15 to 35 lbs. repetitively (up to 25 times per hour).
Ability to work extended periods of time (up to 4 hours) standing or walking.
Ability to work at heights greater than 4 feet with use of a ladder, aerial lifting device, or platform.
Ability to perform repetitive motions for short periods of time (up to 2 hours).

Responsibilities

Lead by example to deliver brand standards and a premier teammate experience.
Provide direction to teammates and support store leadership.
Assist with training and onboarding of new teammates; observe interviews and department tours.
Coordinate daily assignments, game plans, and store events with the team.
