Job summary

DICK'S Sporting Goods, Inc. is seeking a Lead to serve as the in-store expert of their department, guiding brand standards and enhancing the teammate experience.

Working with the Assistant Store Manager and Store Manager, the Lead delivers the best service to customers and provides direction to teammates. The role focuses on building a people-first culture, observing interviews, hiring, coaching, and aligning tasks with daily game plans.

Qualifications

• Flexible availability including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Prior retail sales or customer-service experience.
• Golf experience preferred.
• Ability to stand, bend, stoop, reach, push, pull and lift 15 to 35 lbs repeatedly (up to 25 times per hour).
• Ability to work extended periods of time (up to 4 hours) standing or walking.
• Ability to work at heights greater than 4 feet with use of a ladder, aerial lifting device, or platform.
• Ability to perform repetitive motions for short periods of time (up to 2 hours continuously).

• Assist store leadership with supervision and onboarding of new teammates.
