Job summary

The Michaels Companies Inc. operates over 1,300 stores in the U.S. and Canada. Southern Pines, NC-based Merchandise Manager drives merchandising, pricing and in-store execution to ensure a customer-ready environment.

Responsibilities include coordinating truck processing, inventory routines, planograms, and visual standards, while maintaining strong workload planning and inventory control. Nights, weekends, and early mornings are required.

Qualifications

• 3+ years retail leadership experience.
• Experience following SOPs and company programs.

Responsibilities

• Lead merchandising and operational execution to ensure customer-ready stores.
• Oversee truck loading/unloading and product flow to the sales floor.
• Own workload planning and daily task prioritization with store leadership.
• Execute Store-In-Stock Optimization (SISO) to improve in-stock levels.
• Manage Planogram (POG) execution and visual merchandising standards.
• Train and coach team members to build skills across departments.
