Job summary

Michaels is seeking a Merchandise Manager to drive merchandising and operational execution in a high-volume store. You will oversee truck processing, inventory routines, planogram sets, pricing accuracy, promotions, and a customer-ready environment.

The role requires 3+ years of retail leadership, strong workload planning, and collaboration with store leadership to align staffing with business needs. Nights, weekends, and early mornings are expected in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• 3+ years retail leadership experience
• Ability to manage store operations and inventory
• Experience with SOPs and company programs

Responsibilities

• Lead truck execution, sorting and flow to the sales floor.
• Own workload planning and daily task prioritization with store leadership.
• Drive in-stock levels via SISO routines and replenishment accuracy.
• Oversee planogram execution and visual merchandising standards.
• Manage pricing changes and promotional signage for accuracy.
• Oversee Ship from Store fulfillment and returns processes.
• Train, coach, and develop team members through onboarding and ongoing skill-building.
• Support asset protection and shrink reduction across the store.
