Job summary

Comfort Wave is partnering with Home Depot to connect customers with heating and cooling solutions. As a Business Development Representative, you’ll engage with shoppers in-store, discuss HVAC benefits, and identify potential needs to connect them with Comfort Wave’s services.

This part-time, permanent role requires 20–25 hours per week with weekend shifts, a base pay of $17 per hour plus uncapped commission (average earnings $20–$30 per hour), and benefits including 8 paid holidays and 401(k)

Qualifications

• Applicants must be at least 18 years old.
• Enjoys face-to-face interaction; outgoing, energetic, and self-motivated.
• Ability to work weekends.
• Comfortable using a smartphone for apps, email, and text.
• Detail-oriented with strong time management skills.

Responsibilities

• Present a professional appearance that supports and enhances the company’s image with Home Depot.
• Communicate the benefits of purchasing HVAC products and services.
• Initiate communication with prospective customers during their shopping experience in the store.
• Proactively greet customers, engage in informative conversations, qualify potential purchasers, and generate leads for sales appointments.
• Build and maintain relationships with Home Depot store associates and key management personnel.
• Educate and build awareness about the HVAC Program for Home Depot customers and store employees.
• Achieve specified program KPIs and goals.
• Attend required meetings and training courses.
