Floor & Decor is seeking a professional interior design consultant to greet customers, understand project needs, educate on options, and create cohesive design concepts that align with personal style and budget.

The role emphasizes client development, appointment scheduling, and providing expert advice on flooring and related finishes for both residential and commercial projects. Strong communication and multitasking skills are essential.

Competenze

• One year of interior design or retail/sales experience required.
• Design degree is a plus.
• Knowledge of hard surface flooring is a plus.
• Proficient in basic mathematical skills.
• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skills.

Mansioni

• Greet store customers and support design walk-in needs.
• Schedule design appointments and develop clientele through networking, referrals, and store leads.
• Advise on tile, wood, stone and accessories for residential and commercial projects.
• Design and sell complete, functional and aesthetically appealing solutions.
• Manage multiple projects with accuracy, timeliness and clear communication with customers and team.
• Collaborate with store leadership to manage projects from inquiry to installation and meet sales goals.
• Support company initiatives by modeling best practices with staff.
• Stay current with design trends in the market.
• Utilize design applications such as Salesforce, Online Design Scheduler, and MyProject.
