Job summary

Floor & Decor Designers provide a seamless start-to-finish consultative design service, building lasting relationships and brand loyalty with customers. You will meet with customers, listen to project needs, educate on requirements, and craft a design concept that reflects personal style, lifestyle, and budget.

Responsibilities include greeting customers, scheduling appointments, advising on tile, wood, stone, and accessories, and driving sales while coordinating with store leadership to manage

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year interior design or retail/sales experience.
• Degree in Design is a plus.
• Knowledge of hard surface flooring is a plus.
• Proficient in basic math.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and support design walk-ins.
• Schedule design appointments and develop clientele.
• Provide tile, wood, stone, and accessories advice for residential and commercial projects.
• Design and sell complete, functional and aesthetically appealing solutions.
• Manage multiple projects with accuracy, timeliness and follow-up; use company tools.
