Floor & Decor is seeking an in-store Designer to greet customers, understand project needs, and present design concepts that reflect personal style and budget. You will schedule appointments, advise on tile, wood, stone, and accessories, and guide clients from inquiry to installation.

The role emphasizes creative design, sales responsibility, and collaboration with store leadership. Experience in interior design or retail/sales is valued, with basic computer skills and strong communication.

Qualificações

• Minimum of 1 year of interior design or retail/sales experience.
• Degree in Design is a plus.
• Knowledge of hard surface flooring is a plus.
• Proficient in basic mathematical skills.
• Must be self-motivated and able to multi-task.
• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skills.
• Basic computer knowledge, including Microsoft Office suite.
• Internal candidates must have 12 months of experience in a design consultant position.

Responsabilidades

• Greet customers and support store design walk-in needs.
• Schedule design appointments and develop clientele through multiple channels.
• Provide tile, wood, stone and accessories advice for residential and commercial projects.
• Design and sell complete, functional, aesthetically appealing solutions.
• Manage multiple projects with accuracy, timeliness and clear communication.
• Collaborate with store leadership to manage projects from inquiry to installation.
• Support company initiatives and trends in design.
• Utilize design applications such as Salesforce and the Online Scheduler.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
