Job summary

Boot Barn in Sherman, TX is seeking a Key Holder to engage customers and provide leadership and support to store partners. You will showcase selling and service expertise, maintain visual merchandising standards and handle POS transactions.

As a Key Holder, you will drive sales through strong product knowledge, teamwork with the leadership team, and adherence to company policies and procedures. This role emphasizes customer focus, accuracy, and reliability in daily store operations.

Responsibilities

• Foster a service and selling culture to build customer relationships.
• Become an expert in product categories and communicate features/benefits.
• Maintain and achieve measurable goals (UPT, ADT, add-ons, data capture).
• Be informed on current promotions and advertisements.
• Maintain merchandising standards and assist floor moves and cleaning.
• Assist with processing merchandise and replenishing floor stock.
• Complete opening and closing procedures and POS cash handling.
• Partner with store leadership to develop skills and improve metrics.
• Complete opening and closing procedures and Time & Attendance policy.
• Adhere to local, state laws and company policies.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
• Demonstrate high quality work, attendance and appearance.
