Job summary

Acosta Group in Mansfield, OH seeks an Associate to perform in-store food and non-food demonstrations, acquire product knowledge, and professionally engage consumers to sell products. You will manage event equipment, coordinate with store staff, and uphold food safety standards while maintaining a neat appearance.

The role is part-time, up to 25 hours per week, with duties including leading the event team, preparing samples, and documenting outcomes for clients.

Qualifications

• Education/Experience: High school diploma or GED, or 1–3 months related experience.
• Computer Skills: Proficient with personal computers and mobile devices.
• Certificates, Licenses, Registrations: Food Safety Certification; local food handler permit if required.

Responsibilities

• Complete in-store food and non-food demonstrations professionally.
• Manage and maintain event equipment and supplies for demonstrations.
• Communicate with store management when Supervisor is absent and coordinate events.
• Lead and assist other Event Specialists with event kits and materials.
• Demonstrate product features and benefits and intercept consumers to drive sales.
• Prepare and serve food samples with safety guidelines; maintain clean workstation.
