Job summary

The Michaels Companies Inc. is seeking an enthusiastic events-focused team member to plan and coordinate in-store events, including kids parties and craft classes, while delivering friendly customer service.

You will assist customers, manage checkout flow, and support store operations to uphold brand standards. You’ll engage guests of all ages, help enroll customers in Rewards and Private Label Credit Programs, and execute Omni-channel processes.

Responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate events in-store, including kids birthday parties and craft classes.
• Engage customers of all ages, assist shopping and provide instant solutions.
• Lead participants in crafts, face painting, and related activities.
• Manage event add-ons (goody bags, balloons) per company standards.
• Communicate events to clients and store team; handle emails and calls.
• Assist with omni-channel processes (BOPIS, SFS) and store recovery duties.
