Job summary

Universal Energy Solutions is hiring a Retail Sales & Customer Service Representative to meet face-to-face with customers at our partner retail locations. We help customers understand energy options for their homes and guide them to suitable plans.

No prior energy experience required; we seek friendly, motivated individuals with strong communication and customer-service mindset, able to start conversations with new people. Paid training provided.

Qualifications

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills required.
• Comfortable working face-to-face with customers in a retail setting.
• Positive, professional attitude and team collaboration.
• Ability to work effectively in a retail environment.
• Prior retail, customer service, hospitality, or sales experience preferred but not required.
• Paid training and ongoing career development.

Responsibilities

• Engage with customers and answer questions about home energy options.
• Review available electricity, natural gas, and other energy programs.
• Explain plan options clearly and help customers select suitable solutions.
• Provide a positive, professional customer experience and stay informed on current programs and promotions.
