AllModern-Dedham, MA is seeking a Design Advisor for a full-time retail role. You’ll guide customers through furniture selections and room transformations, using your interior design sense to create beautiful, livable spaces in-store, virtually, or in their homes.

This role blends creativity with sales, requires evenings and weekend availability, and offers pay at $24.50 per hour plus a full benefits package, 30–40 hours weekly with two days off.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of sales experience, ideally with higher price-point products or in a design-related retail environment.
• At least 1 year of interior, architectural, or graphic design experience, with spatial planning and style trends.
• Open availability including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Proficient with design tools and POS systems; familiarity with Salesforce is a plus.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Be the customer's trusted advisor: greet, listen, and learn to tailor design consultations.
• Turn vision into reality using color theory, spatial planning, textiles, and trend-aware picks.
• Build 2D/3D room views, mood boards, and persuasive presentations using design software.
