Job summary

The Michaels Companies Inc. is hiring for a store associate at our PHX-MESA/SIGNAL BUTTE location in Arizona. You will assist customers, ensure a fast checkout, and participate in stocking, merchandising, and SISO/AD set activities.

You will also help with BOPIS/SFS and uphold store standards. Ideal candidates have retail or customer service experience, enjoy helping customers, and can work a flexible schedule including nights and weekends.

Qualifications

• Retail and/or customer service experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Help customers shop, locate products, and provide solutions
• Provide fast, friendly checkout experience; execute cash handling to standards
• Engage customers on the Rewards program and Private Label Credit Cards and complete enrollments
• Assist with Omni channel processes, including Buy Online Pickup in Store (BOPIS) and Ship From Store (SFS)
• Participate in truck unload, stocking, and planogram (POGs) processes
• Responsible for merchandise recovery and maintenance including returns/go-back
• Perform Store In Stock Optimization (SISO) and AD set duties
• Support shrink and safety programs
• Adhere to SOPs and company policies; interact respectfully and model company values
