Michaels Stores is seeking an in-store Event Coordinator to plan and run events like children’s birthday parties, craft classes, and other activities at a Michaels location. You will engage shoppers of all ages, help them find products, and ensure a fast, friendly checkout experience.

Responsibilities include coordinating event logistics, upsell via rewards programs, and supporting omnichannel processes while keeping the store organized and safe.

• Background coordinating events, especially children’s parties.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate multiple in-store events such as kids' parties and craft classes.
• Engage customers of all ages and assist with purchases and store services.
• Present and instruct party activities; assist with add-ons like goody bags and balloons.
• Handle administrative tasks: emails, calls, and paperwork as needed.
• Maintain store cleanliness, safety, and compliance with SOPs.
