Qualifications

• Five years of banking experience preferred, including branch or retail banking.
• At least three years in supervisory or management roles.
• Strong knowledge of retail banking products, controls, and compliance.
• Proven ability to lead, coach, and develop staff in a customer-facing environment.
• Sales and service orientation with ability to identify customer needs.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily operations of the in-store branch, including staffing, cash handling, and security.
• Provide leadership, coaching, scheduling, and performance management for branch staff.
• Deliver exceptional customer service and resolve escalated concerns.
• Develop customer relationships and promote Bank products and services.
• Support sales objectives with a customer-focused environment and product knowledge.
• Ensure branch compliance with policies, procedures, and regulations including AML/Bank Secrecy Act.
• Monitor and approve transactions within authority and handle exceptions.
• Maintain staffing coverage for extended hours and rotating weekends.
• Build relationships with VG’s store management to support customer experience.
• Participate in community outreach and local business development.
• Prepare branch performance reports and communicate needs to Retail Banking leadership.
• Identify operational issues and drive process improvements with internal partners.
• Perform Relationship Banker duties as needed.
