Job summary

DICK’S Sporting Goods is hiring a Specialist – Apparel to deliver an engaging, confidence-building shopping experience by connecting athletes with the right apparel for performance and everyday wear. You will combine product knowledge with strong service to drive results on the sales floor.

The role requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and 1–3 years of retail or customer-facing experience. You’ll onboard and train teammates, uphold merchandising standards, and participate in loyalty

High School Diploma or Equivalent.
1-3 years of experience.
Previous retail or customer-facing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Delivers an outstanding athlete experience by proactively engaging athletes to understand their shopping needs and provide knowledgeable product information.
Assists with onboarding and training of new and existing team members as area SME and ensures smooth execution of store processes.
Maintains athlete-first mindset and ensures products are ready for purchase and athletes are engaged.
Upholds merchandising and presentation standards by following floor set plans, signage, price changes, and inventory presentation.
Promotes participation in company programs (loyalty, warranties, private label credit card enrollment).
Creates an inclusive store environment and adheres to safety, loss prevention and standard operating procedures.
