Job summary

DICK'S Sporting Goods is hiring a Specialist - Apparel to deliver a confident, engaging shopping experience by connecting athletes with the right apparel for performance and everyday wear. You will combine product expertise, merchandise knowledge, and friendly service to drive results in a fast-paced store environment.

You'll support onboarding of teammates, uphold merchandising standards, and promote loyalty programs while creating a welcoming atmosphere where customers and colleagues are

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• 1-3 years of experience.
• Previous retail or customer-facing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Delivers an outstanding athlete experience by proactively engaging athletes to understand their shopping needs and provide product information.
• Assists with onboarding and training of new and existing team members as subject matter expert of their area of the store.
• Demonstrates efficiency in process execution while maintaining an athlete-first mindset; ensures products are ready for athletes to purchase.
• Upholds merchandising and presentation standards by following floor set plans, signage, pricing, and inventory standards.
• Promotes loyalty programs and other store initiatives to drive customer engagement.
• Creates a welcoming and respectful store environment, adhering to safety and procedures.
