Job summary

Michaels Charlotte – University, NC is seeking a Merchandise Manager to drive merchandising and operational execution across the store, including truck processing, inventory routines, planogram sets, and promotion management.

The role ensures accurate pricing, timely promotional execution, and a customer-ready environment through strong workload planning and inventory management. You will train and coach team members while partnering with leadership to align staffing with business needs.

Qualifications

• 3+ years retail leadership experience.
• Ability to lead merchandising and store operations.
• Strong workload planning and inventory management skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist Store Manager in enforcing SOPs and company programs.
• Ensure pricing accuracy and timely promotional execution.
• Provide Manager-on-Duty coverage and maintain store leadership.
• Lead truck execution, sorting, and flow of merchandise to sales floor.
• Own workload planning and prioritize daily tasks with store leadership.
• Manage Store-In-Stock Optimization routines for inventory accuracy.
• Oversee Planogram execution and visual merchandising standards.
• Support a clean, organized, customer-ready store environment.
• Manage inventory control, stock movement, and shrink reduction.
• Execute ad sets, price changes, and Ship-from-Store fulfillment.
• Process RTVs and ASN receiving with accurate documentation.
