Integrated Power Services (IPS) is seeking a hands-on In-Shop Technician in Orlando to diagnose, disassemble, repair, and assemble rotating equipment, and prepare items for shipment. You will perform mechanical rebuilds on motors, pumps, and fans, while measuring performance data with precision instruments.

You will routinely use meters, vibration tools, and diagnostic equipment, contributing to daily operations discussions and ensuring safety and quality in all tasks.

Qualificações

• 1-5 years AC/DC motor experience preferred.
• Able to perform basic math functions.
• Capability to diagnose and repair industrial electric motors, fans, gearboxes, and other rotating equipment.
• Able to understand, perform and retain job-related training, operational, and safety procedures.
• Excellent technical and mechanical skills.
• Self-starter and highly motivated.

Responsabilidades

• Diagnose incoming units, disassemble, repair, assemble, and prepare items for shipment.
• Perform mechanical rebuilds on rotating apparatus repairs like electric motors, pumps, and fans.
• Measure and record data using tables, dial indicators, micrometers, and vibration meters.
• Use multi-meters, meggers, and Baker instruments, and measure winding resistance, RTD and heater resistances, and mechanical fits and clearances.
• Participate in daily operations discussions on customer products.
