Job summary

Integrated Power Services (IPS) is seeking an In-Shop Technician/Manual Machinist to support electric motor repair and rotating machinery maintenance. This role emphasizes hands-on problem solving, attention to detail, and adherence to safety procedures as you work with lathes, grinders, and balance equipment.

You will read drawings, measure components with micrometers, operate manual machines, and assist in crane operations while maintaining quality and safety standards.

Qualifications

• 3+ years experience as machinist for electric motor repair preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate manual machining tools including lathes, milling machines, grinders, and related equipment.
• Safely use cranes and lifting equipment and coordinate rigging as needed.
• Take precise measurements with dial indicators, micrometers, and vibration meters.
