Job summary

Opal Collection in Sarasota is seeking an In Room Server to join our hospitality team. You will take orders from in-room guests, prepare trays, and ensure timely delivery of amenities and meals throughout your shift.

Responsibilities include collecting used items, managing side work for opening and closing, processing payments, and communicating guest feedback to supervisors. Prior hospitality experience is a plus and all team members follow company policy and dress code.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED is a plus but not required.
• Previous hospitality experience is a plus.
• Must have courteous phone skills and the ability to take accurate messages.

Responsibilities

• Take orders for in room guests.
• Prepare trays in detail to deliver all orders.
• Collect all carts/trays/plates/silverware/glassware from previous orders.
• Deliver all amenities prior to check-in.
• Opening side work to prepare for the day.
• Closing side work to set the next shift up for success.
• Process all payments ensuring correct information.
• Communicate with supervisor any complaints or compliments.
• Adhere to the rules and regulations of the company as defined in the employee handbook.
• Always wear appropriate uniform provided by company policy

• Deliver all amenities prior to check-in
• Opening side work to prepare for the day
• Closing side work to set the next shift up for success
• Process all payments ensuring correct information
• Communicate with supervisor any complaints or compliments
• Adhere to the rules and regulations of the company as defined in the employee handbook
• Always wear appropriate uniform provided by company policy
