Job summary

The role includes staff supervision, scheduling, and acting as manager on duty when the Restaurant Manager is absent.

Weekend/holiday availability is required; candidates should be 21+ for bartending knowledge.

Qualifications

• Two years of related food and beverage supervisory/management experience in a comparable, upscale luxury hotel/resort setting.
• High school diploma required; additional education/certifications preferred.
• Knowledge of wine and cordials; must be 21 years of age to bartend.
• Outstanding interpersonal and verbal/written communication skills; engage with diplomacy and tact.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to details and multi-tasking.
• Proficiency in Word and Excel; learn Biltmore's systems and protocols.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily supervision of IRD operations and staff.
• Handle escalated guest service recovery and resolve complaints.
• Assist with hiring, training, scheduling and performance management of staff.
• Open/close and reporting duties.
• Facilitate communication between IRD servers and Culinary for seamless service.
• Assist with server duties during peak periods.
• Maintain knowledge of F&B products, VIPs, groups, and Estate information.
• Support leadership with monthly inventory and maintaining supplies.
