Job summary

Four Seasons Hotel will be seeking an In-Room Dining Supervisor in the Surf Club area of Miami Beach. This role requires supervising the In-Room Dining Department, acting as manager on duty in absence of leadership, and ensuring delivery of high-quality guest experiences in a luxury setting.

You will train and lead staff, monitor service standards, and collaborate with other departments to maintain smooth operations and exceptional hospitality across all shifts.

Qualifications

• Excellent reading, writing and oral proficiency in English.
• Knowledge of food & beverage service, cost control, labor control and accounting.
• Ability to operate computer equipment and food & beverage computer systems.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and participate in taking guest orders and deliveries for In-Room Dining.
• Act as manager on duty when no In-Room Dining Manager or Assistant Manager is present.
• Monitor quality standards and guest satisfaction in In-Room Dining 24/7 operations.
• Provide recognition and handle guest concerns and special requests.
• Attend regular operational meetings to coordinate with other departments.

About The Role

The In-Room Dining Supervisor does require supervisory responsibilities over the In-Room Dining Department. This position acts as the manager on duty when there is not an In-Room Dining Manager or Assistant Manager present. Supervise and participate in taking guest orders, setting up trays and deliveries for In-Room Dining in accordance with quality standards while ensuring guest satisfaction.

What You Will Do

• Select, train, evaluate, lead, motivate, coach, and discipline all employees in the Hotel’s In-Room Dining Department to ensure that established cultural and core standards are met.
• The ability to be visible in the operation, provide recognition, promote good public relations, and handle complaints, concerns or special requests for guests, clients, and group contacts.
• Describe and ensure quality of all food items, ingredients, and preparation methods, as well as provide knowledge of wine and spirits in an elegantly appointed environment dedicated to an attentive and distinctive experience for 24-hour a day in-room dining and in-room private bar services.
• Attend regular operational meetings to ensure effective coordination and cooperation between departments.
• Observe physical condition of facilities and equipment in the outlet and make recommendations for corrections and improvements as needed.
• Please note that due to busy business levels you may be asked to perform tasks that are outside the scope of your job description in order to ensure a positive guest experience.
• Complete locally and federally required training classes or certification as required.

What You Bring
