Job summary

Theballantyne is seeking a Room Service Server to deliver exceptional dining experiences to guests in their rooms. You will ensure timely order delivery and friendly, attentive service in a fast-paced hotel setting.

Responsibilities include taking orders, coordinating with the kitchen, presenting meals, and maintaining room cleanliness and safety standards while supporting the F&B team. This role offers opportunities to engage with guests and develop hospitality skills at a premier Charlotte

Qualifications

Job Overview

As a Room Service Server, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional dining experiences to our guests in the comfort of their own rooms. You will ensure timely and accurate delivery of food and beverage orders, while providing friendly and efficient service.

Key Responsibilities

• Order Taking and Processing:
  
  
  
  • Accurately take and process food and beverage orders from guests via phone or in-person.
  
  
  • Input orders into the point-of-sale system and communicate them to the kitchen staff.
  
  
  
  


• Delivery and Presentation:
  
  
  
  • Transport food and beverage orders to guest rooms in a timely manner.
  
  
  • Present orders professionally, ensuring proper food presentation and temperature.
  
  
  • Set up tables and chairs in guest rooms as needed.
  
  
  
  


• Guest Service:
  
  
  
  • Interact with guests in a friendly and courteous manner, addressing their needs and concerns promptly.
  
  
  • Anticipate guest needs and provide proactive service.
  
  
  • Resolve guest issues and complaints in a timely and effective manner.
  
  
  
  


• Cleanliness and Sanitation:
  
  
  
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
