Theballantyne is seeking a Room Service Server for the third shift in Charlotte, NC. You will deliver exceptional in-room dining experiences, taking orders, coordinating with the kitchen, and ensuring timely, accurate service.

Responsibilities include guest interaction, proper presentation, sanitation, and teamwork. Prior food service experience and strong communication are valued for success in this role.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in food service or hospitality preferred.

• Resolve guest issues and complaints promptly.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace; follow sanitation guidelines.
• Stock supplies and participate in team meetings and training.

Job Overview

As a Room Service Server, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional dining experiences to our guests in the comfort of their own rooms. You will ensure timely and accurate delivery of food and beverage orders, while providing friendly and efficient service.

Key Responsibilities:

• Order Taking and Processing:

• Accurately take and process food and beverage orders from guests via phone or in-person.

• Input orders into the point-of-sale system and communicate them to the kitchen staff.

• Delivery and Presentation:

• Transport food and beverage orders to guest rooms in a timely manner.

• Present orders professionally, ensuring proper food presentation and temperature.

• Set up tables and chairs in guest rooms as needed.

• Guest Service:

• Interact with guests in a friendly and courteous manner, addressing their needs and concerns promptly.

• Anticipate guest needs and provide proactive service.

• Resolve guest issues and complaints in a timely and effective manner.

• Cleanliness and Sanitation:

• Maintain a clean and organized workspace.

• Adhere to strict food safety and sanitation guidelines.

• Clean and sanitize guest rooms after service.

• Additional Duties:

• Assist with stocking supplies and maintaining inventory.

• Participate in team meetings and training sessions.

• Perform other duties as assigned.
