Hyatt Regency Dallas is seeking a Room Service Server to join our Food & Beverage team. You will deliver in-room dining and outlet orders, take IRD calls, and provide a high-touch guest experience in a fast-paced hotel setting downtown near Reunion Tower.

Qualifications

• Prior serving or food-running experience preferred; hotel experience a plus.
• Refined verbal communication skills with the ability to interact comfortably with guests and internal teams.
• Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull moderate weight and stand or walk for long periods.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-touch, guest-focused environment.
• Flexibility to work early mornings, weekends, holidays, and varied schedules as business demands.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to anticipate guest needs.

Responsibilities

• Take and enter guest food and beverage orders for In-Room Dining using hotel systems.
• Deliver food and beverage items to guest rooms, ensuring accuracy and guest satisfaction.
• Run food between kitchen and outlets with urgency and care.
• Maintain tray, cart, table, and room setup standards per hotel guidelines.
• Provide clear, courteous communication with culinary, service teams, and guests.
• Assist with side work, restocking, cleaning, and maintaining service areas.
• Handle payment transactions and cash-handling procedures when applicable.
• Ensure prompt, safe delivery in line with hygiene and safety standards.
• Support other F&B tasks such as expo, staging, and light hosting as needed.
• Uphold Hyatt brand standards and guest service expectations at all times.

The Room Service Server supports both In-Room Dining and outlet food running operations. This role delivers food and beverage orders to guest rooms and designated outlets, takes IRD orders, and provides consistent, high-quality guest service in a fast-paced environment. The position requires strong communication, attention to detail, and the ability to provide an elevated guest experience regardless of location. This role is cross-trained and scheduled across both functions based on business needs.
