Job summary

Thompson Palm Springs Resort in Palm Springs, CA, is seeking a Seasonal Housekeeping Room Attendant (Full-time) to join our hospitality team through Memorial Day 2027.

This nonexempt hourly role requires dedication to cleanliness, guest satisfaction, and teamwork in a luxury resort environment. Prior housekeeping experience is helpful, and flexibility to work weekends and holidays is expected.

Qualifications

• A true desire to satisfy the needs of others in a fast-paced team environment.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to lift, pull and push a moderate weight.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays

Responsibilities

• Clean and service assigned guest rooms and bathrooms according to hotel standards.
• Change linens, make beds, and replenish guest amenities and supplies.
• Vacuum, dust, sweep, mop, and sanitize guest rooms and public areas as assigned.
• Inspect rooms for cleanliness and report maintenance or safety concerns.
• Respond promptly and courteously to guest requests.
• Report lost and found items in accordance with hotel procedures.
• Maintain housekeeping carts, equipment, and storage areas in a clean and organized manner.
• Follow all hotel safety, sanitation, and brand standards.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure an exceptional guest experience.
• Perform other duties as assigned by leadership.

Thompson Palm Springs Resort is seeking an engaging and hospitality-driven Seasonal Housekeeping Room Attendant (Full-time) to join our team!

Housekeeping Room Attendant is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of guest rooms assigned. Previous cleaning experience as well as the ability to communicate is require. Additional responsibilities include:

• Clean and service assigned guest rooms and bathrooms according to hotel standards.
• Change linens, make beds, and replenish guest amenities and supplies.
• Vacuum, dust, sweep, mop, and sanitize guest rooms and public areas as assigned.
• Inspect rooms for cleanliness and report maintenance or safety concerns.

This is a temporary position anticipated to continue through Memorial Day 2027. The assignment may end earlier or be extended based on business needs and does not create a guarantee of employment for any specific duration.

This is a nonexempt (hourly) role. The budgeted rate for this role is $20.50.This is the hourly rate for this position that Thompson Palm Springs reasonably expect to pay. Decisions regarding individual hourly rates will be based on a number of factors including experience, and education.
