Job summary

The Asian Americans for Civil Rights and Equality (AACRE) invites applications for the In‑Prison Program Manager to provide leadership and operational oversight for our transformative in‑prison programming.

Based in the SF Bay Area with a hybrid Oakland office, the role supervises the In‑Prison Program Coordinator, advances data-driven improvements, and collaborates with development, communications, and reentry teams to maximize impact.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in nonprofit program management with supervisory experience.
• 2+ years direct experience working with system-impacted individuals.
• Strong project management skills and comfort with Google Workspace and database management.
• High school diploma or GED.

Responsibilities

• Direct day-to-day operations of in-prison programs and set goals.
• Supervise the In-Prison Program Coordinator and provide feedback.
• Represent AACRE at events and guide outreach and advocacy.
• Manage budgets, grants reporting, and cross-team collaboration.
