Job summary

AACRE is seeking an In-Prison Program Manager to lead day-to-day operations of the transformative in-prison programs, oversee the Program Coordinator, and ensure high-impact reentry services. Occasional overnight travel is anticipated (<5%).

You will guide data collection, program evaluation, and cross-functional collaboration to advance the organization’s mission and equity-focused work within the API communities we serve.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of program management and supervisory experience within a nonprofit.
• Strong mediation, de-escalation, and relationship-building skills.
• Comfort with project planning, event coordination, and data management.

Responsibilities

• Direct day-to-day operations of in-prison programs and supervise the In-Prison Program Coordinator.
• Track program data and metrics to evaluate impact and refine procedures.
• Represent the program at public events, coalitions, and funder communications.
• Manage program budgets and coordinate with leadership on expenditures.
