Job summary

IDEA Public Schools is seeking tutors to support the Road to and Through College program. Tutors will work with students during school hours, providing targeted instruction, guidance, and one-on-one attention to advance college readiness.

Compensation is $12.50 per hour. IDEA offers extensive benefits including paid leave, tuition reimbursement, and health resources. Minimum qualifications include 48 college credits or 2 years of instructional experience.

Qualifications

• Education: minimum of 48 hours of college credit with a minimum 2.5 GPA OR two years of full-time instructional experience in a K-12 school may be substituted in lieu of the education requirement.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate tutoring sessions and use technology to improve student achievement.
• Implement behavior management aligned with campus initiatives while building community.
• Support student writing, math, science, or language arts during sessions.
• Collaborate with College counseling team regarding student progress.
• Provide 10–20 hours on-site per week in school.
