Job summary

IDEA Public Schools is seeking an on-site Tutor to work with students during school hours in the Road to and Through College program. You will provide targeted instruction, guidance, and one-on-one support to help students meet objective-driven goals and prepare for college.

• Requires minimum 48 college hours with a 2.5 GPA or 2 years of full-time K-12 instructional experience
• Ability to instruct and manage student behavior in classroom settings

Responsibilities

• Facilitate tutoring sessions during school hours to support specific objectives
• Provide guidance and one-on-one attention to students in Road to and Through College classrooms
• Utilize technology as a learning tool to improve student achievement and manage tasks
• Implement behavior management aligned with campus initiatives to foster community
• Collaborate with College counseling team to discuss student progress and concerns
• Commit to 10–20 hours of on-site tutoring per week
