Job summary

IDEA Public Schools is seeking tutors to work with students during school hours in the Road to and Through College classrooms, providing one-on-one attention and targeted practice. The position offers compensation at $12.50 per hour, a comprehensive benefits plan, tuition reimbursement up to 50% (up to $5,250/year), up to 8 weeks paid family leave, and employer-paid mental/behavioral health support.

Minimum qualifications include 48 college credits with a 2.5 GPA or two years of full-time K-12

Qualifications

• Education: minimum of 48 hours of college credit with a minimum 2.5 GPA OR two years of full-time instructional experience in a K-12 school may be substituted in lieu of the education requirement

Responsibilities

• Facilitate tutoring sessions in math, science, language arts, and humanities.
• Conduct mini-lessons in writing and study skills for college preparation.
• Maintain regular communication with College counseling team regarding progress and concerns.
• Spend 10-20 hours per week at school delivering targeted student support.
