AHS Staffing is seeking a local contract School Paraprofessional in Coon Rapids, MN. The position supports students in a Rivertrail Learning Center setting for the 2026-2027 school year, providing 32.5 hours per week at $23-$28 per hour.

In-person, full-time opportunity with multiple openings. Role emphasizes individual and small-group support, behavioral and academic assistance, and collaboration with educators to ensure a safe, structured learning environment.

Qualifications

• Must meet Highly Qualified Paraprofessional requirements.
• Paraprofessional experience with children or students with disabilities preferred.
• Experience with behavioral or high-support-needs populations is a plus.
• Comfort with supporting students with significant behaviors.
• Willingness to assist with toileting and personal care.

Responsibilities

• Provide individual and small-group support to students.
• Assist teachers with classroom instruction and activities.
• Support students with academic, behavioral, social-emotional, and functional needs.
• Help implement individualized student plans and behavioral supports.
• Assist with classroom management and maintaining a safe learning environment.
• Observe and document student progress and behavior as directed.
• Collaborate with teachers, therapists, and other members of the educational team.
