Job summary

AHS Staffing is seeking a School Services Paraprofessional in Coon Rapids, MN, to support students in a 100% Special Education setting. The role operates within a Setting 4 program at Rivertrail Learning Center, with a local contract and 32.5 hours per week.

The contract runs from September 8, 2026, to June 10, 2027, and pays $23–$28 per hour. This in-person, full-time paraprofessional position requires strong communication, reliability, and teamwork, with responsibilities including supporting

Qualifications

• Highly Qualified Paraprofessional requirements must be met.
• Experience with children or individuals with disabilities preferred.
• Ability to support students with behavioral or high-support-needs populations.

Responsibilities

• Provide individual and small-group support to students
• Assist with classroom instruction and activities
• Support students with academic, behavioral, social-emotional, and functional needs
• Assist with toileting and personal care as needed
• Observe and document student progress and behavior
