Responsibilities

• Payroll Processing: Collect and review employee timekeeping records for accuracy and completeness.
• Calculate wages, deductions, and withholdings, including taxes and benefits contributions.
• Process payroll accurately and timely using payroll software or systems.
• Verify payroll reports for accuracy before finalizing and distributing to clients.
• Compliance and Regulations: Stay up-to-date with federal, state, and local payroll tax laws and regulations.
• Ensure payroll processing adheres to compliance requirements, including tax filings and reporting.
• Assist clients with payroll tax inquiries and provide guidance on compliance issues.
• Client Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact for clients regarding payroll-related inquiries and issues.
• Provide exceptional customer service and timely responses to client inquiries.
• Collaborate with clients to address payroll processing needs and resolve discrepancies.
• Documentation and Record-Keeping: Maintain accurate payroll records and documentation for clients.
• Prepare and distribute payroll reports to clients, including payroll registers, tax summaries, and employee earnings statements.
