Job summary

EPIC Health is seeking an experienced Payroll, Benefits & Compliance Specialist to support accurate payroll processing, benefits administration, HR compliance, and employee lifecycle processes from Southfield, MI. This role emphasizes confidentiality, regulatory compliance, and collaboration with payroll, benefits vendors, and leadership to ensure a positive employee experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Accounting, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 3+ years of experience in payroll, benefits, HR operations, or a related field.
• Experience with multi-state payroll and HR compliance.
• Strong understanding of payroll processing, benefits administration, and employment compliance.

Responsibilities

• Process and audit multi-state payroll to ensure accurate compensation.
• Administer employee benefits throughout the lifecycle, including open enrollment.
• Maintain payroll data in ADP Workforce Now and other HR systems.
• Ensure compliance with federal and state regulations (FLSA, ACA, COBRA, FMLA, HIPAA).
• Respond to payroll and benefits inquiries and assist with audits and regulatory filings.
