Alpha School is seeking an instructional coordinator to lead small-group K-2 reading workshops using structured literacy approaches. You will design lessons from real-time data, conduct motivation sessions, and engage students daily in an AI-supported learning environment.

The role requires a full-time on-site presence at one of Alpha's campuses, with a focus on building credibility in the classroom, documenting progress, and contributing to Alpha's evolving reading framework.

Formación

• Structured-literacy certification or a Master's in reading instruction.
• Bachelor's degree plus 2+ years of K-2 reading instruction experience.
• Ability to develop reading lessons from student data and explain learning gains.
• Willingness to work in person full-time at an Alpha campus.
• Legal authorization to work in the U.S. without visa sponsorship.
• Experience with AI-powered or adaptive reading platforms is a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Create and facilitate small-group K-2 reading workshops rooted in structured-literacy approaches.
• Conduct daily motivation sessions to help students hit weekly adaptive-app targets.
• Administer running records, fluency probes, and decoding assessments and adjust instruction.
• Analyze AI-generated performance data to differentiate instruction dynamically.
• Be the approachable, energetic adult that inspires daily engagement with students.
