Alpha School is seeking an Instructional Coordinator dedicated to advancing K-2 reading outcomes using structured literacy. You will design and lead small-group workshops rooted in Orton-Gillingham/LETRS styles, informed by real student data, and engage families in progress.

You’ll leverage AI-driven insights, manage running records and fluency probes, and collaborate with a team to refine Alpha’s reading framework for early learners. In-person work at our campuses is required.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in any field; 2+ years K-2 structured reading instruction in school or clinical setting
• Structured-literacy certification OR Master's degree in reading instruction
• Ability to develop own reading lessons and explain teaching methods clearly
• Proven ability to assess reading progress and articulate gains in fluency, phonics, or decoding
• Legally authorized to work in the U.S. without visa sponsorship

Responsabilidades

• Create and facilitate small-group K-2 reading workshops rooted in structured-literacy approaches informed by authentic student data
• Conduct daily motivation sessions to achieve weekly adaptive-app targets using Alpha's framework
• Administer and evaluate running records, fluency probes, and decoding assessments
• Analyze AI-generated performance data to differentiate instruction dynamically
• Be an approachable, energetic adult that K-2 students enjoy learning with
