National Federation of Independent Business is seeking a Membership Sales Representative to engage small business owners face-to-face, present NFIB’s impact, and enroll them in a national movement advocating on their behalf.

You will meet owners where they are, share NFIB's mission, and invite them to join a movement that protects livelihoods. The role emphasizes hunter/closer skills with a proven sales process and strong earning potential.

Qualifications

• Experience in sales is helpful but not required.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Willing to follow a proven sales process.

Responsibilities

• Engage directly with small business owners through in-person prospecting.
• Deliver NFIB's 5-minute sales presentation with confidence, authenticity, and urgency.
• Build fast rapport and communicate NFIB's mission clearly and compellingly.
• Address objections and close membership enrollments in one visit.
• Process membership payments on the spot.
• This is a hunter/closer role with a clear, structured sales model and no account management after the sale.
