Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• District-specific 48 sem/60 qtr units and/or pass pre-employment test.
• Ability to speak/write Standard English appropriate in a public-school setting.
• Pass Live Scan background check; TB test within 3 years.
• At least 6 months’ experience with groups of 10+ students.
• Strong math and English skills (K–8).
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Bi-literate in English and Spanish preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead a group of students in-person while maintaining behavior and safety.
• Serve as a positive role model through dress, speech, attitude.
• Create an engaging environment fostering belonging.
• Support students in positive behavior choices and enforce discipline when needed.
• Identify student needs and communicate with Site Program Manager and teachers.
• Participate in staff development.
