Job summary

Epic Minds Therapy is seeking a dedicated Behavior Technician (RBT) to work in-person with children and individuals with developmental disabilities in various settings. You will implement ABA-based plans under BCBA supervision, collect data, and support progress toward individual goals.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children or individuals with disabilities is preferred.
• Knowledge of ABA and behavioral therapy techniques.
• Familiarity with medical terminology, documentation, and records management.
• Strong communication skills for interacting with clients, families, and team members.
• Commitment to confidentiality and HIPAA compliance.
• Background in special education is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Implement individualized behavior intervention plans under supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).
• Provide direct support to children and individuals with developmental disabilities in various settings.
• Collect and record data on client behaviors and progress towards goals.
• Assist in patient assessments and intake processes to gather relevant information.
• Maintain accurate medical documentation and records in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
• Collaborate with families, educators, and other professionals to ensure a holistic approach to care.
• Participate in training sessions and professional development opportunities to enhance skills in behavioral health and special education.
• Support clients in developing social skills, communication, and daily living skills.
