Job summary

Intuit, Inc. is seeking a TurboTax - Local Service Expert to join a new TurboTax location and provide hands-on tax preparation and expert advice to local clients.

You’ll work on-site with a team of financial professionals, delivering end-to-end services from discovery to plan integration, while guiding clients through personal and business tax scenarios. You’ll also grow the local TurboTax client base, participate in community outreach, and connect clients with the broader Intuit ecosystem for

Qualifications

• EA/CPA/Attorney with tax preparation experience and knowledge of tax laws preferred (Circular 230 familiarity).
• Active PTIN required by law to file taxes.
• Minimum of 3 years of paid experience filing 30+ federal/state individual 1040 returns per tax season with professional software.
• Willing to upskill into additional service types or more complex work areas with training from Intuit.
• Must be comfortable working onsite at a TurboTax office 20+ hours per week, 8:00–17:00 local time.
• Must complete all training and development requirements.
• Must wear Intuit uniforms and participate in advertising with name/picture.
• Interest in building local and online TurboTax presence, creating content for the community.
• Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.
• Experience in holistic tax advisory beyond tax filing.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on tax advice and complete preparation for TurboTax clients, handling simple to complex situations.
• Lead local community outreach and grow the local client base through events and partnerships.
• Bridge clients to bookkeeping, payroll, and advisory services within the Intuit ecosystem.
• Build relationships to convert prospects into long-term clients and ensure ongoing support.
• Deliver an exceptional customer experience with professionalism and empathy.
