Job summary

Ultimate Staffing's client in Nevada is seeking a Staff Accountant for a full-time, in-person role on a Monday–Friday first shift. You will maintain accurate ledgers, support monthly reporting, and help ensure tax and regulatory compliance while contributing to the financial health of the organization.

Ideal candidates have a Bachelor's in Accounting, entry-level accounting or finance experience, a professional appearance, and strong attention to details.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting is required or emphasised.
• Entry-level accounting or finance experience is acceptable.
• Professional appearance and a meticulous approach are important for client-facing work.
• At least one year of accounting/finance experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• General Ledger Management: Prepare accurate journal entries for the General Ledger.
• Financial Data Validation: Review departmental financial information for accuracy and completeness.
• Account Reconciliation & Asset Tracking: Perform reconciliations and maintain fixed asset depreciation records.
• Financial Reporting & Tax Preparation: Compile monthly financial statements and prepare tax returns timely.
• Compliance and Record Keeping: Maintain tax and license records to meet regulatory obligations.
