selfpublishing.com in Austin, TX is seeking a Sales Manager / SDR Manager to coach, lead, and light a fire under a growing SDR team. You’ll bridge marketing and sales and drive revenue by turning warm inbound leads into quality appointments for the Inside Sales Reps.

This role splits 60/40 between managing the SDR team and generating qualified appointments yourself, building workflows, and conducting weekly training to keep the team at peak performance, in a fast-growing mission-driven company.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of outbound sales and SDR leadership experience.
• Ability to coach others to elite performance with structured feedback.
• Organized, systems-driven, data-savvy and able to drive results.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coach the SDR team to set high-quality appointments.
• Own the SDR pipeline, improve lead quality, and boost conversions.
• Drive performance metrics across the team (SQLs, show rate, etc.).
• Recruit, onboard, and train new SDRs to build a high-performing team.
• Run weekly SDR WACs and sales training meetings.
• Conduct call reviews and 1-on-1s with reps.
• Build systems and automations to maximize selling time.
