Upbound Group, Inc. is seeking a detail-oriented Quality Assurance Engineer II to join our Draper, Utah team in-office.

You will monitor production workflows, test software code, and inspect products to catch defects early, while helping develop quality standards and testing plans. The role requires 2–5+ years in QA or a similar technical field, strong problem-solving with data tools, and excellent communication to document findings and train team members.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
• 2–5+ years in a QA, testing, or manufacturing/technical role.
• Strong problem-solving with data tools, root-cause analysis, and statistical process control.
• Excellent written and verbal communication to write clear technical reports.
• Meticulous habits to spot minor discrepancies that could impact safety or user experience.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and Inspect: Review production workflows, test software code, or inspect physical goods to catch errors early.
• Develop Standards: Help create and implement quality control protocols, testing plans, and safety guidelines.
• Track and Report: Document bugs, non-conformances, and test results accurately; prepare routine performance reports.
• Root Cause Analysis: Investigate product defects or system failures to find the core problem and prevent recurrence.
• Collaborate: Work with developers, engineers, and operations teams to verify fixes and improve design.
• Compliance: Ensure all processes align with industry regulations and standards.
