• Education: High School Diploma or GED; higher education in healthcare administration or business preferred.
• Experience: prior healthcare scheduling, patient access, physician practice, or call center experience required.
• Leadership: experience as supervisor, team lead, or coordinator supporting multiple medical specialties preferred.
• Core competencies: effective communication, problem solving, and analytical skills with attention to detail; ability to manage competing priorities.

Responsabilidades

• Oversee daily specialty scheduling workflows, message clinical teams, manage voicemails and phone queues to maintain high service.
• Manage employee schedules, approve timekeeping and PTO, coordinate team shifts to cover high-volume gaps.
• Hire, onboard, and train team members on provider protocols and workflows with Training Coordinator support.
• Monitor metrics and audit data entries for accurate demographics and insurance verification.
• Build relationships with Southwoods specialty offices, update provider templates, onboarding new practices.
• Partner with IT to resolve phone queue issues and assist with Meditech EMR update testing.
