Job summary

One Medical is seeking a Mission-driven Member Support Specialist to enhance the in-person patient experience at our Glastonbury and West Hartford offices. You will be the first point of contact, ensuring smooth check-ins, billings, and scheduling while upholding our compassionate, patient-centric care model.

You will collaborate with the Practice Coordinator and operations team, using Slack, G-suite, Zoom, and the EMR system 1Life to support patients and providers.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of experience in high touch customer or patient facing roles.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience working on collaborative, diverse and feedback-driven multi-disciplinary teams.
• Proven ability to adapt, think ahead under pressure, and take action on challenges.
• Proficiency with computer technology, online navigation, and multiple software systems.

Responsibilities

• Provide front desk and patient-facing support in-office.
• Manage patient intake, scheduling, and follow-up activities.
• Support providers and coordination with the Practice Coordinator/Operations Manager.
• Master One Medical tech tools and EMR system in daily work.
• Maintain office spaces and assist with mail, supplies, and tasks as needed.
