Job summary

First Financial Federal Credit Union in New Jersey seeks a customer-focused, in-person liaison between members and staff. This role handles high-volume calls and chats, resolving inquiries and processing routine financial service requests while maintaining strong member relations.

The ideal candidate will excel in a fast-paced environment, demonstrate excellent communication, problem solving, and cross-selling skills, and be available to work Saturdays to support member needs.

Qualifications

• Superior customer service and excellent listening skills.
• Ability to multi-task – answer calls and respond to internet messages.
• Strong work ethic and self-starter able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Requires full knowledge of credit union products and services preferred.
• HS/GED with 2 yrs related banking experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Comply with Credit Union compliance regulations.
• Handle high volume inbound and outbound calls, transfer leads as needed.
• Answer inquiries by clarifying information and providing data.
• Resolve problems by clarifying issues and researching solutions.
• Evaluate member needs and offer appropriate financial products and services.
• Cross-sell services by recognizing member needs and explaining features.
• Assist with online banking, Debit/ATM issues and escalation as needed.
• Maintain member data in the database and process mail.
